Community Coalition Development Specialist:

This position is part of a state-funded community coalition grant related to substance use prevention efforts in Madison County. As Community Coalition Development Specialist, this position will be responsible for oversight of the needs assessment process and evaluation of the coalition, including both process and outcome evaluation of data. The Community Coalition Development Specialist will be proficient in evaluation of environmental prevention strategies. They will be responsible for collaborating with coalition members and the Coalition Coordinator to ensure that all strategies and activities are culturally sensitive and will aim to bridge any barriers in using culturally appropriate communications and methodologies. They will be an active member of coalition meetings and report to the coalition on service delivery. This person will work 35 hours a week for this proposal and devote 100% of their time to this effort. A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position. This position requires excellent communication, organization and time-management skills. The position requires travel as necessary to complete the grant requirements. Starting hourly rate: $18.25/ hr.
