Want to make a difference in the lives of youth and adults in Madison County? Come join our team! This position is part of a state-funded community coalition grant related to reducing the impact and harm of marijuana use among youth and adults in Madison County. The Coalition Coordinator, to be hired, will be responsible for the day to day activities and organization of the coalition and its work on this initiative’s objectives. The coordinator will be responsible for assessment, capacity building, planning, implementing and evaluating activities associated with priorities. The coordinator will guide the coalition to develop and implement strategies that will lead to long-term involvement of community institutions, organizations, and individuals in substance use prevention. The community coalition coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring that reporting requirements are completed and submitted. The coordinator will attend all coalition meetings throughout the year. This person will work 35 hours/wk and give 100% of their time to this program. A Bachelor’s Degree preferred. This position requires excellent communication, organization and time-management skills. The position requires travel as necessary to complete the grant requirements.
