Join Our Team as the Lead Community Engagement Coordinator for our Tobacco Control Program! Are you passionate about public health and community education? We’re looking for a dynamic coordinator to lead our tobacco control initiatives! In this role, you’ll engage with local communities to educate about the impact of the tobacco industry and drive impactful programs that promote healthier communities.
The Community Engagement Lead Coordinator will be for responsible developing cross-county partnerships through acting as the chief liaison between and among Madison, Oneida, and Herkimer County community schools, employers, organizations, the state and local health departments, and the community at large. These partnerships will lead to the successful identification of opportunities to strengthen local laws, policies, and practices that reduce tobacco harm.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a human services, health, or education field preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to work with diverse teams necessary. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess analytical thinking, critical thinking, and resourcefulness required. Must be skilled at organizing projects, meeting deadlines, and coordinating resources. Ability to set long-term goals, develop strategies, and make decisions based on data and programmatic needs.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and reliable transportation required. Background check required.
